Privacy Policy: What We Collect, Why, and How Long We Keep It
The short version: we collect what we need to run your tour, we do not sell it to anyone, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
We are a small company, which makes this simpler than it usually is. We do not have a data broker behind us and we do not run advertising trackers on this site. Here is the whole policy.
What we collect
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, phone | To take your booking, run your tour and contact you about it | Two years after your last booking |
| Booking and payment details | To take payment and meet tax and accounting obligations | Seven years, as required by law |
| Dietary, mobility and special requirements | To run the tour safely for you | Six months after your booking |
| Website usage data | To see which pages work and which do not | 14 months, in aggregate |
| Emails and messages | To answer you and to keep a record of what we agreed | Two years |
What we do not collect or do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Not to anyone, not to advertisers, not to data brokers.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
- We do not store your card details. Payments go through a PCI-compliant processor that holds them.
- We do not ask for a passport or any government ID unless a specific tour requires it, and when we do we say so in advance.
- We do not share your details with any game publisher, media outlet or social platform.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies and similar storage for things that make it work: remembering a language or region preference, and aggregate analytics that tell us which pages are useful. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but a small number of preferences will not be remembered between visits.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, and only with three kinds of organisation: the payment processor that takes your card, the booking platform that runs our availability and ticketing, and our email provider. All three process data on our instructions under a written agreement.
We will disclose data if we are legally required to, for example to a court or to law enforcement. We will tell you, unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold. Message us and we will tell you, within 30 days, exactly what personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it. If something is wrong, we will fix it.
- Ask us to delete it. We will delete your booking data within 30 days, except for the records we are legally required to keep for tax and accounting.
- Ask us to stop emailing you. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect emails about a booking you have made.
- Complain. If you are unhappy, message us first. If that does not resolve it, you can complain to the relevant authority in your own country.
Children's data
Our site is a travel site and we do not knowingly collect data from children directly. Where a booking includes a child, the information is provided by an adult booking for them, and we hold it only for the duration of the booking and the period after it described above.
Contact and changes
Send us a message through our contact page and mark it 'Privacy', or call +1 (305) 555-0148. The date at the top of this page is the date it was last changed. If we make a material change, we will contact anyone who has booked with us in the last two years.
